Electric vehicle charging platform Rightcharge has announced a partnership with Cord Power Technologies to integrate Cord’s smart EV chargers into its fleet payment system.
The collaboration allows UK fleet drivers to use Cord’s connected home chargers for automated reimbursement through Rightcharge, removing the need for manual expense claims. The integration is aimed at improving data reliability for home charging, a long-standing issue for fleet managers.
Cord’s chargers, including its premium Cord Zero model, use dual Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity to ensure consistent data transmission, even where internet coverage is limited. The system records every charging session directly into Rightcharge’s platform, enabling precise cost tracking and reimbursement to drivers via their home energy supplier.

Rightcharge chief executive Charlie Cook said the integration adds a high-reliability hardware option for fleets seeking to automate home charging costs.
“We are always pushing for a more resilient and driver-friendly ecosystem, and hardware is a critical piece of that puzzle,” Cook noted. “Partnering with Cord adds a premium, reliable charger to our platform. Their focus on connectivity, with features like dual 4G and Wi-Fi, ensures that data is always captured accurately. This is the foundation of our automated reimbursement promise. It gives fleet managers more choice and total confidence that their drivers’ home charging is tracked back perfectly.”
The partnership also reflects the growing demand for dependable home charging infrastructure as UK companies expand their EV fleets. Cord’s chargers support solar and battery integration for future energy management and come with extended warranties of up to five years.

Paul Tomlinson, co-founder of Cord Power Technologies, said the collaboration addresses a key operational barrier for fleets.
“Fleet managers need to scale their EV programmes without creating administrative nightmares,” he said. “Our partnership with Rightcharge directly addresses this. We provide a reliable, always-on smart charger; Rightcharge provides seamless payment automation. Together, we’re removing the friction from home charging, making it simple for businesses to support their drivers and track costs with precision.
Rightcharge’s platform already connects with multiple energy suppliers, vehicles and charging providers. The addition of Cord’s hardware is expected to strengthen its home charging offer, ensuring that reimbursement data is captured directly from a verified source.
“This partnership expands our ecosystem, giving fleets more flexibility in home charging while upholding our commitment to seamless management of EV charging payments,” said Charlie Cook,CEO of Rightcharge. “Together with Cord, we’re making fleet EV adoption simpler and more cost-effective for businesses nationwide.”
The companies said the integration also lays the groundwork for future features such as time-of-use charging and solar energy optimisation.
