Mark Binks

Group Managing Director

As a co-founder of Tangram in 1988, later to be renamed Bynx, Mark brought to the business that scarce commodity of excellent technical knowledge mixed with accomplished business acumen. Instrumental in the financial stability achieved in the latter years and a structured R&D expenditure which has resulted in a new generation of Bynx solutions, Mark and the company are in pole position for their next adventure within the mobility revolution.

Gary Jefferies

Sales and Marketing Director Bynx

Gary joined Bynx in 2010. Prior to this, he was at the helm of commercial affairs for international consultancy experteye, an organisation specialising in benchmarking, business intelligence and performance development for the finance, leasing and fleet sectors. His career in the automotive sector spans over 25 years, starting in finance and leasing for a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank plc. He then became head of business development for CW Lease, during which time he experienced the implementation of automotive and leasing software from the client perspective. He has also worked for First National Vehicle holdings and JATO Dynamics as global head of sales. Jefferies holds a Diploma in Marketing and is a member of the Institute of Credit Management.

Owen Goschen

Operations Director Bynx Europe

After graduating, Owen started his career developing software in Oracle. In 1992 he joined Bynx when it opened its Durban office and in 1997 Owen was appointed to the board of the South African operation. Owen has been involved in the development of all aspects of the group's software and has a complete understanding of both the technical and business aspects of the system. He was also involved in the development of the Durban office and before leaving to join Bynx Europe, he was general manager. Currently Owen is primarily responsible for project delivery.

Ashley Smith

Managing Director Bynx Australia

Ashley is currently managing director of Bynx Australia Pty Ltd. Ashley was previously the operations director of Bynx Africa Pty Ltd. He joined Bynx Africa in 1999. Prior to joining, he spent most of the prior 13 years involved with developing financial, fleet management and leasing systems for various companies. During this time Ashley fulfilled positions that included IT directorships. As such he has a wealth of business knowledge from the fleet management, leasing, financial services and IT industry. He also has strong strategic, analytical, technical and consulting skills.
